    Issaquah requires payment of the (B&O) or Business and Occupation Tax. Business within the city limits of Issaquah are required to hold a business license and pay the B&O tax if they conduct business within Issaquah, regardless of whether the business is physically located there. Licensure must be renewed each year.

    B&O Tax Returns are to be filed quarterly—returns are due on the final day of the month after each period.

    The gross receipts Business and Occupation tax is based on gross receipts for the reporting period. Current rate of taxing ranges from 1000% -- 0.08%. Quarterly taxable gross receipts of $5,000 of less are eligible for an exemption on the Business and Occupation tax in 2012.
